They are also painted with different colors to suit people’s varying needs. Of course, like all other types of furniture, wicker lawn furniture comes in various styles, themes, and designs. Houses with swimming pools are accessorized with loungers, coffee table sets, dining sets, and loveseats made of rattan. When looking for wicker furniture such as couches and dining sets, choose the ones with frames made of strong, rigid, and ‘broom handle’-sized poles as they are sure to last longer than expected. Most wicker furniture is expensive because the technique of weaving and enclosing smaller bits of rattan to the surface of the pole frame need many raw materials, coupled with specialization skills and labor. Treating the lawn furniture with resin makes it even longer lasting as resin-treated wicker will be resistant against the UV, heat, and frost. It will also make the furniture maintenance-free.
