What is the name of this plant?

I have a plant that my mom told me was hard to find I need to learn how to take care of it so I don't kill it. She said it was an artesion lily but I can't find anything with that name. Is there a type of lily with a name any where close to that? It has smaller almost rounded green leaves with a redish color on the bottom. The steam base of the plant looks like it has pinkish hairs on it and the steams leading to the leaves are a light almost transparent green. Can any one help me identify it?
