Weird brown bubble like bumps on my aloe!?!

My cactus' name is Sam and she is growing actually quite well, and is about a medium size cactus but recently she has been having these weird bubble like brown bumps on her stems and I dont know what they are. There are some small black ants around and in her pot with her so I thought they might have been doing it to her since she has never had ants with her before. Can you please help me find out what these bumps are? |
