The night blooming jasmine

by Brian
(Tampa, Florida)

I have been growing the night blooming jasmine for several years now. I got my first night jasmine from a garden nursery after a neighbor told me about the fragrant flowers it produces. His plant was over six foot tall, and about half that in width, loaded with hundreds of sweet smelling flowers.

After I got my night jasmine planted, it grew like a weed on steroids. In no time it was over four feet high and producing hundred of tubular flowers the filled the night air with a wonderful scent. What I like most about the night blooming jasmine is that I spend little time on maintenance. I just throw coffee grinds and banana peels at its base and that’s pretty much it. This jasmine is one of my favorite fragrant plants.
