Sea Grape Grafting
by: Anonymous

Since there are the separate sexes, can I graft both male and female scions onto the same tree? Has anyone done this before. What other insects beside honeybees will pollinate?

thanks

Identifying female sea grape tree.
by: Steve

I do not know of any way of identifying a female sea grape until the tree flowers. At that point the leaves can examined to see if the have anthers (males) or stigmas Females. I contacted my local botanical gardens and they know of no way of identification other than this.

Sorry for not being able to help.

Steve
