Night blooming jasmine plant in May

(Tampabay)

Night jasmine photo

Here is one of my night blooming jasmine plant. At this time it stands about 6 feet tall and 4 f-5 foot wide. Lined up and down its sprawling branches are thousands of small, trumpet shaped flowers. At nightfall, they release a sweet fragrance the drifts down the street for half a block. Its bloom cycle last 3-4 days and occurs 6-8 times a year. It is grown in a mostly shaded area with occasional watering.
