Honest, it has bloomed 27x365 days plus a few leap years. Replanted only two times (after it had broken its own pot so it like to be root bound). It stands about 4 - 5 ft tall. It lives outside all summer, thes past 4 years on a northern facing balcony. When i bring it in in the fall it will drop 1001 leaves but never fear it still blooms. In sun, the flowers are bright red, in winter in the window the flowers are light pink. Never had a pest problem (bugs don't see to like it as the flower stems are sticky) .

I have never trimmed it but mother nature has its own trimming (damaged in wind storms or caught in slight frost.
