LARGE sunny side wall of house needs some insulation!

by Brandi
(Holly Springs, NC)

I have a 3 story wall on my southwest side of my house that desperately needs some shade. Have considered large trees but my property line will not provide sufficient space. I was turned on to the vine idea. I would need something that can grow up to 30-35 feet and not attach to my masonry siding. I don't mind attaching trellis lines for a vine to follow but I do need to find an attractive, fast growing vine. Any ideas?

Yes. The carolina jasmine and star jasmine are two climbing vines that may work well for you. But I must be honest. These vines can attach and climb anything, steps may have to be taken to keep them off your homes siding. Below you can find more information about theses vines.
