Large Angel Trumpet Plant Photo

Here is a lovely image of a angel trumpet plant. As you can see from the photo, it is well over 8 feet tall with large red/white trumpet flowers. The trunk and branches are quite large, and the leaves and flowers suggest vibrant health. It is growing in a shade/partial sun area.


I had an opportunity to ask the owner about her angel plant. She said the plant was started from a cutting many years ago. She went on to say most all trumpet plants in the neighborhood were started from a cutting from this plant. Very little is maintenance is performed on the plant and almost no sprays used. While I was there many ladybugs could be seen doing their work keeping aphids and other insects off the plant.
