Jade Plant

I inherited a beautiful jade plant, thick stem, various arms, full of leaves. It did very well for about a year - watering it sparingly and feeding it occasionally. Recently, last 6 weeks, it keeps loosing not just leaves but also whole little stems with leaves.

I left it to dry out more, thinking maybe it was too wet - however, it is still doing it after watering again sparingly.
What can I do to save it ? I believe it has sufficient day/sun light in my living room.
