Identify this plant, please...

I usually mow the yard once a week but hadn't been able to in almost two. As I came into the back yard, I noticed this cluster of plants. I've been looking around the 'net trying to identify them. If they are bad, I want them gone as I have a young son. If they are good, I might want to transplant them into a different spot. Can anyone tell me what they are?
