Carolina Jasmine sunlight requirments

Since you've already planted them in the ground, I would leave them alone for now. You will need to monitor them closely for any negative changes in their appearance. As for as the base of the plants, you could add mulch or move/plant some container plants to provide shade.

Here in Central Florida I see the Carolina jasmine doing just fine in both in full and partial sun. The Florida sun is very strong and it stays hot most of the year. So, your jasmine vine plants may be fine where they are.

Are your plants flowering yet? They are here in Florida.
