How Are Angel Trumpets Propergated?

I recently was given some double yellow angel trumpets. I believe they are also called, "double golden queen". The ones I was given had beautiful blooms on them, I transplanted them, they have bloomed but the plants now look as if they are dying. How can I grow these from a starter plant? Should I have cut the blooms off them before transplanting them?
