House Pepper Plant Turning Yellow

by Alexandra Chabanov
(NYC)

Question I have a pepper plant and its leaves are turning yellow and drying. Is there something I can do to keep it healthy? All of my plants before that I had died and I do not know why. I have my last plant and want to keep it alive. Is there anything I can do to keep it alive? It already has little pepper buds and I think it needs more space. Does it? Please tell me how to take care of it and answer my question.

Answer Yellowing leaves can be a sign of a lack of watering. To begin with, give the plant a thorough watering 3 to 4 times a week.Remove the yellow and dying leaves. Inspect the drainage holes to see if any roots have reached the bottom. If they have its best to move the plant into a larger container. If you must move them, use fresh potting soil. Also If you do relocate the pepper plant, the buds may not fully mature do to shock. Good Luck
