Growing Arabica Coffee Plant

I bought the plant at a home center Lowe's its grown tall but recently some the green leaves are turning a yellowish color. I put fertilizer around the plant watered. It looks better but still some leaves are greenish yellow.
Any suggestions??

Answer: First thing is look for insects on the underside of its leaves. A magnifying glass is a recommended tool in a gardeners tool box. If pests are present, identify the species and find the appropriate treatment.

Next, make sure the plant is not root bound. Basically that means roots are have outgrown its container and are compacted. Re-pot if necessary.

Use a quality potting soil and make sure it has good drainage. Keep the soil moist, never soggy. Misting two to three times a week may be helpful.

Coffee plants are tropical plants, which means they prefer warm climates and filtered sunlight. Remove any dead leaves and stems and don't add any fertilizer for a month or so. Here is where to get healthy Arabica Coffee Bean Plant
