Sickly purple heart plant picture

I put my purple heart out yesterday to get some sun and i forgot to bring it in for the night. when i went to get it this morning it was very sad looking and crying purple. what should i do to it to make it come back? will it come back? my husband told me i should cut it back to try to cut all the dead parts back -?- any suggestions??

Answer: I would have to agree with your husband. Remove dead leaves and stems from the plant. You should also keep it indoors until it begins to regrow and the last frost has passed.

Good Luck
