Container Gardening

by Collette
(Swift Current, Canada)

Question: I just planted my herbs and tomatoes into containers this evening. Now it looks like rain. Every time it threatens rain--do i have to cover and find shelter for my containers? Sounds like too much work.

Answer: No. Your plants should be fine where they are. The only exception would be if damaging winds and rain are coming, and if a freeze makes it way to your area.

Good luck
