Carolina jessamine poisonous to dogs

Question: We have just purchased a Carolina jessamine and have read that they are poisonous. We have 5 dogs and are concerned if they try to eat it. How harmful is this vine to dogs as I will return this plant if it will harm them.
Thanks, Lynn

Answer: Hi Lynn, many plants are labeled poisonous or toxic. Some more than others for whatever reason. Unfortunately I can not answer your question whether your dogs are safe from this plant or not. You would need to talk to your vet to be sure your dogs will not be harmed by eating the Carolina Jasmine.

Best Wishes

Steve
