Camphor tree

Any info on a Camphor tree would be appreciated. We had a very large tree, always with green leaves, no flowers, that a previous owner called a Camphor tree and would deter mosquitos. It was approx. 20 years old in the Tampa, FL area. We would really like to know about it and find one for the Ocala, FL area. Thanks.
