Buy Orange/Lakeview Jasmine Plant/Tree

Question: Where can I buy an orange/lakeview jasmine plant/tree. I had a standard jasmine tree for about 5 years, but last summer, the leaves turned brown and it died. I have tried finding another one, but it seems Florida is not permitted to sell them because of some type of quarantine on this variety due to an insect problem affecting citrus plants. If you could help me find one, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Answer: Joan, I've searched a number of places for the lakeview jasmine, but have come up short. I have found the plant in many nurseries but the law prohibits them from shipping to Florida, California and a few other states. Until you get a handle with the disease (citrus greening) sounds like your out of luck. May I suggest a Arabian jasmine AKA Jasmine Sambac
