Arabian Jasmine Growing In Container

by Steve

Arabian Jasmine Comes Alive

Arabian Jasmine Comes Alive

Here is a young Arabian Jasmine growing that was growing in the ground of a neighbors house. The shurb was not looking very good, and had not grown all that much in several months. I got permission to take it away for rehabilitation. I stuck in a a container of my homegrown compost, adding some worm castings and placed in an area the receives 4-5 hours of direct sunlight. Less than two weeks later new shoots developed and flowers soon followed. The perfume emitted from the sambac flower is stunning--to say the least.
