Answer to your question:
by: Steve

Reports suggest the seeds and leaves of the plant are the toxic portion of the angel trumpet. If these parts are ingested you can experience tremors, hallucinations and blurred vision. Some people have gotten ill simply being near or coming in contact with the plant. So, will your tomatoes and squash be safe to eat? If the angel trumpet plant is not touching them in anyway, they?ll likely be okay. If you decide to eat the veggies--clean them thoroughly under warm water. However, I tend to be on the cautious side of life. So, just to be safe, I Personally would not consume either the squash or tomatoes. Use gardener gloves and other protective clothing when working with the plant. Seek medical attention if you become sick. I hope this help
